Production new construction
Blythewood's subdivision builds move fast, and the same findings repeat: attic ductwork disconnected, crushed, or poorly supported; missing kick-out and step flashing at roof-wall intersections; grading sloping back toward the foundation; insulation gaps at attic knee walls and over garages; unsealed plumbing and electrical penetrations; and workmanship items finished in the last week before closing. A pre-drywall inspection while framing, wiring, and plumbing are exposed, plus a full pre-closing inspection, puts every one of these on the builder's list rather than yours.
